Doomsayer
Ronald is a WPI student and ex-member of The Silent Society, but still a supporter of both The Silent Society and the fight against the voices. He left The Society to explore new methods of fighting the voices, and remains a diligent fighter of impending insanity. Ronald is an easily excited, and emotionally unstable individual. He’s always quick to believe a conspiracy theory, and is always watching over his shoulder to protect from danger. His greatest fear is losing his mind to the voices, and his greatest love is the fleeting moments of comforting security from the danger he sees in the world.
Sidekick
Edward, or Eddie, is another prospective initiate of The Silent Society joining at the same time as our players. Eddie is a youthful and immature. His pride inspires him to join The Silent Society and join in the fight against the voices. His greatest fear is failure in any area. His goal is to achieve in the name of The Silent Society, which is why, in the end, Eddie comes to the defense of the society when they start to appear evil. Eddie’s greatest love is the small glory that comes with each victory over the voices.
Goddess
Escobar is a former president of The Silent Society whose time as president had expired. He was just another member of the society until it was taken over by the voices. Captured, Escobar was in constant turmoil with his own mind. Escobar’s mind was nearly torn from him before the players rescue him. Escobar has seen a lot in during his service to the Silent Society. And has the know how to handle a lot. His greatest fear is that it is impossible to defeat the voices, and his greatest love is the part of him that thinks it’s still possible.
Villain
THE VOICES! SPOOKY SCARY! Some lore: The voices have been around longer than humanity. The voices are what drive minds insane. From penguins that leave their pack to scientists that experiment on humans. The voices invade a mind and turn the mind to their own nonsensical goals, dropping everything that makes them themselves in the name of what the voices tell them. The voices hunt smarter minds because it gives them greater power. So naturally they gravitated away from animals and towards places like universities.
