The flyer received from the doomsayer points to the homepage of the Silence Society site. There are two pages relevant for prospective members: How to Join, and Register.
The How to Join page lists a few clues/guidelines to the types of skills members will need to be effective within the society. One of these clues should also be a small nod to checking the source code of the page, where they'll find a link to a Youtube video. The video will consist of a visual component that is not helpful, while the audio component contains the encoded password needed to register for the Silence Society mailing list. The password is a morse code message in the audio of the video. The password is "hush". (.... .._ ... ....)
The Register page allows the user to enter their e-mail and join the club, but is gated by a password (hush).

First draft of the how to join page:
Although the battle against the Voices grows dire, the Silence Society cannot afford to take on every single person who wishes to become a member. There is no limit to the methods the Voices will use in order to thrive. We must keep our forces tightly knit in order to remain vigilant against the deceit that the Voices will surely employ.
An ideal member of the Silence Society would be able to:
1. Inspect carefully: The Voices are adept at hiding their work, even in plain sight. Members need to be able to look high and low for disturbances caused by the Voices. 2. Listen for the truth: It’s common for the Voices to drown out the world with illusions. You will not always be able to trust all your senses. Members must be able to hear through the lies and remain grounded in reality. 3. Think critically: The Voices are masters of trickery. They hide their mischievous deeds through layers of misdirection. We need sharp minds to uncover their plans and counter their attacks.
If you feel like you would be a good fit for the Silence Society, then the way to join should be clear.
I'd appreciate it if someone from writing wants to give it a look over and make sure it all falls in line with the Silence Society's identity.

Here's an idea I just had that might be kinda cool as Friday's puzzle
The puzzle to prove that you are worthy to be a member could be something where the players have to distinguish between true insanity and just weird sanity. Maybe it could be a video in which the players have to identify the truly crazy person among a group of sane weirdos. The sane people could all kinda be working on the same thing but the crazy person would be doing their own thing. Afterwards they have to identify who was the crazy person.
Or the video could be a series of people describing themselves and afterwards the players have to identify who was the insane one, the trick being that they were all insane in different ways. Or they could all be sane, either way it tests to see if the players can resist the lies and trickery of the voices. In order to get the email, you'd have to answer the question.
Or the video could be a narrator walking around campus explaining crazy behaviors and how any of them could be caused by the voices. At the end you'd be given a question saying that one of the people in the video was infected by the voices, who was it? And of course it was the narrator who was being controlled by the voices, indicated by the crazy behaviors he describes not really being that crazy or something like that. The first puzzle doesn't have to be too hard, right?
Just putting the ideas out there.
I could write a script for a puzzle video, but we'd have to film it sometime tomorrow.
Just an another idea, the video with the hidden morse code might be a good way to have the club send you to the location of the dollhouse for Saturday's puzzle, you know, so that none of the insane people that the voices control can find it.

When I finish the video, do you want me to just send the video here or do you want me to upload it as well and provide the link (I know how to change all of the settings so it is private and stuff)

I just want to say I don't know how to solve the puzzle. I can't hear the full code in the video, though I do hear something. Also, on the Register page we should probably say something along the lines of "enter the code from the test here" so they know what to do. We never specifically tell them to enter a code anywhere.

Website is all set. Could a couple other people just go through the puzzle and make sure it works (check source on join page, go to video link, enter password, enter email + check for Silence Society email)? Also, if morse code seems too challenging for the first puzzle, we could just say 'hush' at some point in the audio of the video.

Maybe we could embed the video in a News post on the Silence Society Website. Maybe something along the lines of: "Local Doomsayer and previous president of the Silence Society, Ronald, is seen spreading word of the danger of the Voices to the WPI student body. Although he has left our society, we appreciate his continued support."
