Here's the image that we would give the players. Probably via Ronald tweet. It's an image that looks like a bunch of symbols floating around. Recognize the seal, tree, and fountain however and you might realize that this is a map of WPI. Grab a map of WPI and overlay the provided image to get something like this. Remember that the good symbol consists of the circle and square, find the intersection to get the destination, Salisbury Labs. In the tweet, Ron can mention a number along with the image to represent the room number if necessary. What we need now is just a confirmation of what location we're going to provide the next story beat, that way I can adjust this puzzle image to point to the right place. Any suggestions?

Are we giving the players the image of the map or do they have to find it online for themselves? I feel like there's a lot of maps with slight variations and orientations so finding the one that you used here will be both hard to find and the only one they'll be able to use.

That's the point of having the seal, tree and fountain as a reference. The presence of those means that they should be able to rotate/scale the map correctly.

I think that it would be a good idea to have Ronald ask the players that he needs the players help to locate Escobar as he has been kidnapped. He sends out the icons as the only clue he has. The tree, seal, and fountain are pretty noticeable so it should be easy for the players to figure the overlay method. Additionally, I think it would be cool if the intersection of the symbols was right over the alumni gym, which is a pretty good place for the society to hide Escobar. If this were the case, Ronald would have to make it clear that he is the one to get Escobar because it's too dangerous for the players (also illegal for players to go to the alumni gym).
Also, if they needed a hint, Ronald could say something along the lines of "the good symbols guide the way."

Here's one adjusted to be located in Alumni gym if that's what we end up using. EDIT: Don't use this one we're not doing Alumni gym anymore use the one in the first post.

this seems a little too tough. There are like infinite ways to overlay.

No there aren't, there's exactly one due to the presence of three known landmarks. Am I missing something here?

I'm pretty sure it is, but the symbols at the top of the page align over Salisbury, right?
